WallPen Malta is managed by a team with considerable experience in marketing, sales and design. Seeking solutions for clients who sought to turn plain walls into eye-catchers, the team began looking for vertical wall printers that can truly deliver, and soon found wallPen in Germany.

The wallPen vertical wall printing machine has been fully developed and manufactured in Germany by Andreas Schmidt. For almost 25 years, Andreas Schmidt worked independently in sales, programming and presentation of 3D CAD/CAM software in the tool and machine building,  aerospace, shipbuilding and automotive industries.

In 2015, Andreas’ wanted to get his hands on a wall printer. However, after the wall printer he had imported burst into flames on the first attempt, and after subsequent similar failures, Andreas opted to try and build one himself. Schmidt sought help, and found it with programmer Ramazan Köprülü, whose code forms the backbone of the wallPen.

By June 2016, Andreas and his team started getting customers for the vertical mobile UV printer. Today, the wallPen enjoys over 20 national and international patents, and it’s now in Malta!
